PAST PRESIDENT

Andrew Clark completed a 3rd term as the Board President.  During that time Andrew, the rest of the board, and the club’s legal counsel worked tirelessly to obtain the non-profit status for the club. Andrew is a native of Dos Palos where he attended Dos Palos High, before moving on to earn his degree from Fresno State.

Andrew holds a degree in Agricultural Economics and is involved in several family businesses, including farming. He has been with the club for 10 years. His leadership has been vital to the club’s development. He and his wife Julie reside in Clovis.

TREASURER

Daniel is a graduate of Clovis West High School, Fresno City College, and Fresno State where he earned his degree in finance.

Daniel is serving his 3rd term as treasure to the club. Daniel is a 6 year veteran of the club. He currently provides financial planning in the education sector. Daniel applies his professional experiences in the stewardship of the clubs finances. His outstanding work has lead to the sustainability of the club.

SECRETARY

Ahmad is one of the newer members of the club. Ahmad received his undergraduate at Fresno State then went on to earn an MBA with focus in Human Resources, and is currently completing a doctorate in Organizational Development. Ahmad is a program manager in local county government.

The addition of Ahmad to the board brings the club a decade of non-profit and community relations experience as it works to fulfill its commitments as a non-profit and increase visibility.

FUNDRAISING CHAIR

Matt Price is an area native. Matt graduated from Buchanan High School in 2001 where he was a football stand out! Matt is a successful local entrepreneur and the owner of Syn Lawn of Central California.

He has taken the lead to use the clubs non-profit status to promote the game, coordinate fundraising, and conduct local charity work on behalf of the club. As a successful entrepreneur Matt is bringing those same principles and approach to fundraising for the organization. Matt and his wife Karen reside in Fresno.

RECRUITMENT CHAIR

Adam hails originally from northern California. After playing rugby for Michigan State where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering, Adam took an engineering position with Cal Trans in Fresno. He is a recent addition to the club with just over two years in the area, but brings a wealth of experience to the club.

Adam is using his passion for the sport and athleticism to teach the game to those interested in rugby and recruiting new players to the sport. Adam continues to actively promote the sport while studying for his state licensing exam.

SOCIAL CHAIR

Henry’s roots are in Salinas. Henry received his degree in Communications from Fresno State. Henry is currently involved in the agricultural and food business as a produce inspector/buyer. Henry is in his second term as the club’s social chair.  In rugby it’s the responsibility of the home team host the visiting team after the game.

Henry has been responsible for this task and has elevated the standards by incorporating themes, and other innovative ideas into those post game gatherings. He has also focused on the social aspects of the sport and throughout the year coordinates team trips, outdoor activities, etc that are important for networking, developing friendships, and camaraderie which are at the heart of rugby.
